| Frere Roger, the father abbey of Noirlac, had named Sister Sophie very recently as legate of the Cistercian Order. Her role included the relationships with the daughter abbeys...
So, she travelled to Spain to meet her spanish brothers and sisters.
After miles and miles of a long trip, she finnally arrived at Vallbona de les Monges.
As any visitor would do, she knocked on the door and waited for a sign of life.
In the mean time, she rummaged into her bag to find the invitation she was bringing for the Holy Arnvald ceremonies in Noirlac... - Citación :

Dear Father Abbeys and members of the Chapter,
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
As Rector of the Cistercian Order, we, Mgr. Frère Roger, invite all our Brothers and Sisters of the international daughter abbeys of the Cistercian Order to the great ceremony celebrating Saint Arnvald, on may 21st 1457 in the Saint Bernard abbey church.
Saint Arnvald is the founder and protector of the cistercian order. Thus, the presence of all our Brothers and Sisters from the daughter abbeys is very important.
We hope to see you there and will welcome you very warmly dear Brothers and Sisters in faith.

| Griko felt the small bell of the heavy door and on having opened her found a lady with habits cisterciences. She was speaking in a strange language, the brother apologized doorman since for the languages he is a bit awkward.
Very good days there gives us the The Most High; be welcome you to this humble abbey. But you pass and sit down like in house.
The lady was bringing with him a missive from Noirlac, so he placed it in a visible place and there took the things all the brothers of Vallbona's Abbey to attend to the call in distant lands, they must divide just now.
